Morpheus Energy Services (“Morpheus”), a new, Australian based, workover and completion well service specialist, is pleased to announce that it has secured exclusive access to automated rig technology manufactured by Prostar Energy LP (“Prostar”). Prostar’s rig technology, in combination with the Morpheus team’s extensive experience in the well service industry in Australia, brings leading service rig technology to the Australian marketplace. Morpheus is scheduled to have its first fully automated service rig, using Prostar technology, available in the marketplace in the second half of 2021, with manufacturing of rig components in Queensland, Australia commencing in the coming months. With a career spanning 20 years and some of the worlds largest oil producing regions Brennan brings a comprehensive understanding of the end to end lifecycle of well operations.

Having experience from the rig to the client in well servicing, snubbing and drilling Brennan is able to translate client side demands for safety, cost and productivity into operational actions. Prior to forming Morpheus, Brennan held roles including Drilling and Completions Superintendent with Santos and Senex.

A Certified Practising Accountant with over 25 year’s experience in public practice and financial management. Having owned wholesale businesses for 7 years in that time with turnover $30M plus and now owing two accounting practices since 2007 advising 100’s of clients on business strategy and financial management.

Has strong financial acumen and acts as virtual CFO for a number of business clients.

BIO

Steve has over 18 years experience working in Oil and Gas operations. Steven has worked in numerous national and international locations with both land and offshore experience in Well Servicing, Snubbing, HWU and HWU Drilling operations.

Steven returned to Australia in 2014 to continue pre-dominantly in Well Servicing/Snubbing as a field superintendent before moving into an Operations manager role in 2016. His skills base is well regarded within the industry and as the General Manager of Morpheus Energy he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team and is tasked with leading the team forward and delivering a safe and effective operation.

Gareth Ross

14 years of experience within the Australian Oil and gas Well Servicing and Drilling industry in positions consisting of Rig Crew, Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent, Project Director- Managing Rig and associated equipment Design, Engineering Fabrication and commissioning. Additional 11 years’ experience in the Heavy and remote transport services. With an extensive range of equipment, systems and operational knowledge of all items related to Well Servicing, Drilling and transport industries.

Gareth has been involved in the delivery of over 22 well servicing and Drilling Rig design, construction and delivery of projects for the Australian and South East Asia Oil and Gas markets, Gareth has extensive experience with both local and international Rig and component construction including a global network of industry contacts.

Simon McPaul

Superintendent

Simon has experience in Management, Operations, Health and Safety and Training, bringing a robust approach to operations. With 9 ½ years’ experience working in the Well Servicing Industry, he has gained knowledge of systems development and implementation, managing contracts and working with the client groups to strategise and deliver on projects and manage change within the operation.

As part of the Morpheus Energy Services team, Simon is engaged in the development of systems and processes with a focus is on delivery of a safe, consistent operation while maintaining the development of teams, personnel and performance to continually build and maintain the company’s culture and values.
